Nate's law firm was a sponsor for a local school's fundraiser this weekend, which included a 5k Fun Run. Because the sponsors' spots in the run were free, we took advantage and signed up! Chase, Avery, and I ran in the 5k, and then the whole family stayed around for some fun at the carnival for a little while. The pictures below were taken during the Fun Run, which was great fun except for one GIGANTIC hill in the middle of the course that went straight up for about 50 yards. Ugh! But you can't scare us Merrills off so easily. We plan to go back next year, too!
