Courtney's Primary Talk

This beautiful girl is becoming such a great little reader! Last Sunday she gave a talk in Primary on prayer. She's given several Primary talks, but this is the first one she did without help, reading it all by herself. We wrote the talk together and practiced it several times so that she could be sure of herself. Then, when it was time for her talk, she read every word on the page fluently! In fact, she even opened her talk by reading aloud the title we had typed at the top of the page: "Courtney's Primary Talk." Ha ha! Dang, that girl is adorable! Incidentally, as a side note to this, our Chase might be something of a little prophet: After President Monson's talk in General Conference earlier this month, Chase predicted that the story he told about losing the five dollar bill in the laundry would become one of the best-known stories in the church over the next few years. Funny . . . I heard that story re-told 3 different times on Sunday! Excellent foresight for a 10-year-old!
