First Day at the Pool!

Our community pool opened on Memorial Day, so we were among the first to jump in this season!

It was a beautiful weekend, and we were happy to have Daddy home with us. We spent the day playing, making cookies, swimming at the pool, and enjoying a yummy BBQ dinner in the backyard. Dang . . . why can't we do that EVERY Monday? A big thanks to our American heroes who made this day and so many other things possible for us!

Here are some pictures from the pool. This was not Trey's first time at the pool; we took him once last summer to dip in his toes. But, it might as well have been the first time for how nervous he was. He did enjoy the kiddie pool eventually, and even enjoyed the splashing by other children. We'll have that boy loving the pool before long!
