Spring Soccer

It has been a few years since we had the boys in a soccer league. They used to play soccer every fall and spring from the time they were 4 years old! We just got too busy to handle it when I was RS President and expecting Trey. But, after we spent the fall and winter in swimming lessons, we all felt it was time for a change. So, we signed up for spring soccer with the Parker Recreation Department! This time, however, we had all 3 of our older children playing on a team. They all played very well and had a great time. Chase even scored the last goal of the last game of the season for his team. Avery was, once again, an awesome defensive player for his team. Courtney enjoyed her first experience in organized sports and showed potential for great skill! We were lucky that the weather was actually very nice for soccer this year. And Trey learned that sitting on the grass and eating a few blades of it can be fun!
